When should we start preparing for our first dance?
To feel confident on your big day, we recommend starting your dance journey about 2–4 months before the wedding. That gives us enough time to practice and master a beautiful choreography.
Don’t have that much time? No problem! We can still start a few weeks before the wedding. The choreography may be simpler, but it will still be magical.
How many lessons will we need?
That completely depends on you! Your dance level, how much time you can commit to practicing, and your preferences for the choreography will guide us. We’ll discuss everything in our introduction call, and we’ll recommend a personalized package that fits you perfectly.
Can I dance in my wedding dress?
Absolutely, your dress becomes part of the magic! In our introduction call, we’ll ask you about your dress so we can create a choreography that matches your style and makes sure you can move comfortably and beautifully in it.
Do you provide practice videos or guides for home?
Of course! At the end of each lesson, we’ll record a video of your dance so you’ll have personalized videos to practice at home. It’s a great way to reinforce what you’ve learned and improve at your own pace between sessions.
How much space do we need to practice?
Not much! You might just need to move coffee table out of the way, but a regular-sized living room is usually enough. We’ll make the most of whatever space you have.
How do we choose our first dance song? How long should it be?
Choose a song that feels meaningful and emotional for you, and we’ll take care of the rest! Just make sure to check the lyrics to avoid anything too sad or related to breakups. An ideal length is 1.5 to 2 minutes, and we’ll edit your song to fit the choreography perfectly.
Do we need dance experience?
Not at all! Whether you’re total beginners or have been dancing for years, we are here to help you learn the dance of your dreams. We have worked with many couples who had never danced before in their lives, and they looked absolutely beautiful and confident on their wedding day. The key is to start 2–4 months in advance and practice consistently. With the right guidance, anyone can learn to dance.
